Billy's Kind Day follows one full, unhurried day in Billy the Kitten's life: waking up, being curious, playing, helping, resting and settling down to sleep. There is no plot to keep up with — each page stands on its own, so a two-year-old can colour one picture and stop, and a five-year-old can work through the whole day.
Every page is drawn with thick, easy-grip lines and one simple action, on a plain white background with generous margins. The lessons are gentle and never preachy: someone needs help, Billy notices, Billy helps.
